Following the inclusion of Jordan Henderson and Maguire in his starting lineup, England began the match with great intensity in the initial 10 minutes, dominating possession with a staggering 94 percent, yet failing to generate significant scoring opportunities. Their sole noteworthy attempt came from a blocked Saka shot from long range that vaguely threatened the Ukrainian goal. However, England’s inability to convert their possession dominance into goals proved costly as the home team unexpectedly took the lead during this early phase of the game.

  1. Jude Bellingham was the best player on the pitch and he gets taken off for Rashford (who is crap)

Saka was the most threatening player for England and he gets taken off for Gallagher (who is a defensive midfielder) when England needed a goal

Harry Kane was playing in the middle of the park (like a midfielder and not like a striker)

Harry McGuire hasn't been playing first team football for donkeys years (and he plays a whole game)

Henderson is below average and has been below average all his life (and he plays a whole game)

Eze is playing for well for his club (and he doesn't even feature for England)

    Southgate has to go!

  2. "Maguire showed great leadership when he gave guehi a hug to give emotional support in the midst of an Ukrainian attack.. granted Zinchenko scored via the huge space Maguire vacated but leadership is an intangible quality that is more important than actual defending."
