Personally, I would have liked to see Pepe return, rather than sign Havertz. He was already on the books, with a lower salary.
He carried a bigger goal threat, and was a natural fill-in for Saka in case of injury.
Maybe his lack of consistency was what led to him being cast out.
Or maybe he just lost interest in playing for Arsenal when he lost his starting spot to Saka.
Whatever happened to Pepe seems too elusive to fathom, still the final shot shown here is a wonderful work football, anywhere, ever!
I think his lack of game time/success was mainly down to Auba and Laca. Those 3 could never seem to gel enough
