South Korea have named former Portugal manager Paulo Bento as their new coach following the departure of Shin Tae-yong. Taeyong led the Asian nation to a third-place finish in their World Cup 2016 group following a 2-0 win over defending champions Germany in their final outing. He’s replaced by Lisbon native Bento, who managed his native Portugal to the European Championships in 2012 and the World Cup in 2014.
