Time to move on and concentrate on new forward, I think C.V will be good this year and with Jimenez.

Joe got it so right with the comment on scale. The difference between a professional footballer getting paid 5x will not change their life as much as a normal salaried individual making 5x either salary.
The only way I can justify it in my head is that he is buying "time". With the Saudi money, he can retire at 31 whilst affording a higher standard of living, whilst at Fulham he may have to keep going until 33/34. It's a weak argument, it its the only plausible one. Would have much preferred he went to a top 6 instead.
Ream and Wilian aren't going to keep having a purple patch. I think we need to prepare for them potentially not performing as well as they did last season.

As much as I love Fulham and Mitro, everyone has a price and this is his. He has a limited time in his career to prepare for his family's future and you can't fault him for making the most of it while he can.
Mitrovic has let himself down with the way he's acted. Sad state of affairs. Club legend, but it didn't need to go down the way it did

Can't blame Mitrovic for wanting to secure his family's security for generations. But it's how he has chosen to go about it that is wrong. No matter what the other players say, this HAS to affect morale and they should have left him back in UK and not included him in this US squad. Now, especially, with new players arriving in US. Jimenez, we know, has joined the squad and Bassey is, reputedly, on his way there for a medical. Why keep an unhappy player around? Without doubt, it's time for him to go now and, 100%, he has ruined his relationship with the club and fans by behaving this way. Stop pussyfooting around the subject. We are ALL disappointed in the guy.

Mitro is gone. We can either moan about it / him or we can see this as an opportunity. An opportunity to score more pens and to also to develop a more flexible and responsive style of play. With new forwards we can have an element of surprise and be tricksy to play against. Bring on the new season !

Great show guys. I think you sum up perfectly how a lot of supporters are feeling about the Mitrovic situation. Personally I'm not angry with him but just really disappointed in his behaviour and feel so, so let down about the way he has behaved. If he stays and sees his contract out he could potentially become Fulham's all time leading scorer and play for us in Europe. We're talking statue worthy levels of achievement here. Then he could go somewhere for even bigger riches; not that he needs them. Legacy destroying insanity as far as I'm concerned. Utter madness at this stage of his career.
