      I think the armband made him feel a sense of more importance and increased responsibility, and that's not so unconnected to his eventual performance in that game.

      This is a conflicted one, because conor is such a top lad and he is a hard working good player, but if chelsea is aiming to play this offensive fluid football, Conor is not made for that. He's a tactical player where he needs the tasks given by thr manager, he is a work horse but thats not what chelsea need in midfield

      connor you are a brilliant player, one of the only players who plays for the club and badge. your shooting is horrendous tho, if you can improve your finishing you could be one of the best in the league

      I believe there is politics going on otherwise how earth could Gallagher who is one dimensional player and no top player to be captain of Chelsea. His captaincy shows the low level Chelsea has reached. I don't see Pochettino lasting the 2023-24 season. He was loudmouthed when he came, tΓ lking big. Now ue is changing his tone. Look at de Zerbi of Brighton. Most of his top players are sold yet playing wonderfully well and producing results. That's a good coach.
