pundits go on as if he was world class at one stage when in reality even at best he's a bang average player, almost 30 and just 1 league cup in his illustrious career
The fault is on every pundit and manager who's denied much of the evidence for three years that Maguire isn't actually good.

Season before that he scored 18 goals against Norwich City and Brentford with 0 goals 0 assists 0 chances created against Liverpool or Man city and won Garbage D'Or and he also assaulted a child with disability and won Criminal D'Or . Harry should have made that move to Westham, plain and simple. By rejecting that move, he hampered man united's progress because it meant they couldn't sign another CB and Ten Haag had to settle for Johnny Evans. That's why the fans aren't behind him and naturally, opposition fans will feed off that. He's the architect of his own status as a villain.
If this was a one-off or recent I'd see the case to be made for standing by Maguire. But he's been dreadful almost from the start of his time at United. He's late, slow to read a situation, get's caught out of position, and he doesn't have the foot speed to compensate for any of it. So you expect United supporters to stand by him because he might be their only option? Insane.
