Why should Arteta care if Ramsdale is England No 1? He's Spanish 😅
As an England fan I'm a bit disappointed in this because I think ramsdale should be England's number 1 keeper now he's been dropped for doing nothing wrong
People need to get it into their heads: Leno got dislodged for the very same reason Ramsdale is by Raya. Raya is better with his feet then Ramsdale and that is the way Arteta plays. Plus the other small things he is more composed.
Arteta wanted Raya he was his no1 choice but brentford wouldn’t sell so he turned to Ramsdale. When Raya came he was always going to be taking over as no1, transitioned in exactly the same time that ramsdale transitioned in for Leno, straight after the international break
Had Ramsdale not been English, this would have gotten a lot less attention. With the competition Arsenal are up against in City, you have to try to squeeze every percentage out, and Raya is arguably a better goalkeeper.
How did Keown not remember City went from Hart, to Bravo (Pep’s signing) who didn't work out, to then sign Ederson which would have proved his point about Arteta learning from Pep
Arteta has changed how we play. He wants ball possession, short and long. That's why he's upgraded him. Ramsdale is a great keeper but football is tough

Raya was Arteta number 1 choice in the summer of 2021 he couldn't get him, so he went with Ramsdale. Now he's got his number one, in Raya. What's so hard to understand.
It’s laughable isn’t it. He doesn’t like the media panning to Ramesdale. As a Utd fan I think the media should stop crying because he’s English. Raya’s kept two clean sheets back to back so far, Arteta hasn’t been proven wrong yet?😂

Raya looks better already, better in possession and ball distribution. Arteta knows what he is doing. He wanted Raya but couldn't get him when he wanted him so he bought Ramsdale instead
I think Arteta knew and still knows now that Raya is the better keeper. He’s just saving Ramsdale some flack by saying he’s brought him in as competition. Ramsdale will be gone by next season
When Ramsdale replaced Leno, no one said his feelings were hurt. All of a sudden, feelings are being hurt. 😂😂😂

Sorry I don’t agree, Ramsdale has been outstanding & pulling off unbelievable saves. Raya comes in for no reason at all & has had nothing to do……
Big difference between Raya and Ramsdale is the handling. Raya actually tries to catch the ball and is very good at it.I also really believe his aggressiveness for corners/free kicks is one of the biggest reasons he is in the side.

g00ners didnt fluff the prem league last year due to the keeper, they have a lack of strength in depth within the squad as a whole especially when that central defender got injured. Dont forget man u swapped keepers for one whos really good with his feet, but cant save anything with his feking hands which is the keepers primary role.
