  1. Mudryk Sterling (wide forwards)
    Nkunku (false 9)
    Enzo Palmer (8 10 hybrid)
    Lavia (deep lying playmaker)
    Chilwell Gusto (inverted fullbacks)
    Colwill Chalobah (ball playing defenders)
    Sanchez (sweeper keeper)

    Manager: Fabregas
Spanish midfielder, La Masia graduate, learned from Pep as a player, learned from Arteta (indirectly from Pep) in management.

  2. No. Just like Southgate, some players could play in any system and they’re individually so good they make the manager look half decent. If he’s fixed the LW issue, Mudryk should be bagging at the same rate as Sterling, he’s literally a 1 of 1 of Sterling. But because Sterling is so good, he’ll get in the right spots; he’ll do well no matter what manager as long as he’s fit, he does sensational under a clued up manager. You watch England and I worry I could manage them and win games, doesn’t mean I have a clue what am doing, it just means these guys have/has such dynamic and fantastic managers, Pep, Klopp, Eddie, Arteta, Ancelotti that when they play they know what to do anyway regardless of what the manager said

  3. He played well against Luton and now people think he's back to his best? With all due respect, he's not. It's rare that he runs through any decent defense even though he is a decent dribbly boy, and it's even rarer to see him with a proper end product. Luton defense was just bad.

  4. TIFO, you all are, without a doubt, on another level when it comes to entertaining, insightful, and comical football analysis. I believe humility is hard to come by these days, therefore I will not suggest that my opinion is that of the majority. I have listened to every episode of the original TIFO Football Podcast since the day when one of you showed up to the studio complaining about being nicotine deprived about 6 years ago (I believe this is when Alex Stewart was quitting smoking, as I was also quitting at the time, though I would hate to discount the quitting efforts of someone else). I am not asking for a reprisal of the podcast, not even of the TIFO Football Show, but any version of Joe, JJ, Jon, the baby boy, perhaps even occasionally Seb and if Alex is still around, him also. Can we see you boys chatting about football for at least an hour a month, together, in the same room? It is the crack cocaine I was never addicted to. It is the touch of brevity that our lives seem to skirt around. You would be doing us all a favor by bringing back some iteration of the cast and crew of the weekly TIFO Football Podcast, but perhaps in a form more suitable to you all as well. Please consider it, my individual happiness depends on it.

  5. i think its more sterling's dedicated preseason works that's setting him apart from the other players at chelsea

  6. Raheem Sterling is actually holding Jackson back, the amount of times he refuses to play simple passes into Jackson is staggering. This guy is just a flat track bully!

  7. opposite-foot inside forwards are rarely worth it. salah, saka, messi, not many others. we'll see more correct-foot inside forwards who play situationally as wingers

  8. Lol really… best ball playing cb at LB, 3 cdms every game! Jackson and sterling isolated. No creativity. So easy to defend against

  9. Why are we calling it the "Chelsea Project"?.. does giving it a cute name ameliorate or sidestep the fact that they've spent an ungodly amount of money by openly abusing a loophole in FFP, or that their players and manager haven't a clue what they're doing, and have little to no loyalty to the club or its fans. Chelsea's opening fixture list looked kind on paper.. and they fluffed it hard. Can't see it turning around over a full season just because Sterling is playing well.

  10. Potter didn't play him at wingback. It just didn't happen. The period of time you're referring to (his first few games in charge), Chelsea played a 4231 with Sterling at left wing. It looked like a back 3 because the left back didn't push up as high, but he had practically zero defensive responsibility. It was about as close to being a wing back as Grealish is for city, which is to say not at all.

  11. The lose the ball merchant? Pep fixed Sterling bc he made him actually keep possession and stop wasting it 24/7, Poch just let him attack recklessly and kill almost all our attacks and gives the other team momentum. Stop the nonsense

  12. His dribbling is not the issue. His decision making and quality in the final third is absolutely awful. Hesitant to make a pass and takes that extra touch.

  13. I think Sterling has lost a little bit of pace and athleticism; that’s why he’s declined, and the athleticism is not coming back. He’s been playing top level football non stop since 16, and it’s take a toll on his body. Some players just decline a little earlier, and that’s his real problem

  14. Tifo this channel is starting to dip in the number of views and positive interactions in the comments. Please at least engage with the fans or people are going to get more negative then unsubscribing.
