The 28-year-old was pivotal to City’s historic 2022/23 Treble, playing 50 games as we lifted the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup trophies.

Before moving to the Etihad in 2021, our No.10 had made it through the youth ranks and become a legend at boyhood club Aston Villa.

Here, he sits down with presenters Nedum Onuoha and Rob Pollard to tell the story of his journey from a prospect to a champion.

He discusses his first memories of playing the game, training with Aston Villa’s first team at the age of 14, becoming the star man during their Championship years, receiving international recognition and how Pep Guardiola gets the best out of him.

  1. Love a relaxed talk like this where you give him the time and just listen. Everyone has their own way of communicating so sometimes it might seem awkward but Jack seems so calm here and that’s nice to see!

  2. Problem is in the eyes of the owners Jack embarrassed himself and the club at times. These are billionaire Muslims who have put a lot of time and effort into getting this champions league for Jack to be on the front pages drunk out his face for a week. No wonder he hasn’t played much this season.

  3. Hope he doesn’t bench Doku and play this idiot who can’t beat his fullback and score and assist. I don’t believe for a second that Pep tells him not to attack his fullback. And all this keeping the ball, creating space for others is nonsense. He just does not have the ability to beat his fullback like Doku can.

  4. Grealish is a top lad. He was fantastic in the treble season. This season he has doku to compete with. That can motivate him to be better . I want to see Grealish score more goals and take players on abit more. His a honest and a team player

  5. Greaves, Best, Gazza and others when they drunk they were bad roll models for youngsters. But Grealish when his pictures on the front pages rat arsed he’s a good lad we don’t know if the kids want to drink like him or play like him ?

  6. Grealish is the greatest release player ever, give him the ball and he absorbs all the pressure by being able to dribble everyone or get fouled. Makes sense he's a left back in build up against good pressing. You can't press him. Only foul him. He's the perfect outlet

  7. JACK GRELISH PLAYED A BIG PART A EXCELLENT ROLE 2023 TREBLE , HE SPEAKS HIS MIND AND IN ALL HONESTY ONE OF THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH LADS YOU WILL SEE.. 💙

  8. " I am not going to tell you why, otherwise opposing teams ,might be savvy to Pep' s thinking".Well done Jack ,for not divulging secret strategies.
