Real Madrid are a club that delivers when it matters most and their winning DNA brings the best out of players like Rodrygo. Karim Benzema had a quiet game and when all the attention is on him and Vini Rodrygo is a player who shines when the lights are the brightest for Real Madrid we saw it today with the 2 goals and has done it in multiple champions league games and he's only 22. Rodrygo deserves more praise and he's now an important player for Real Madrid as he's starting to really come good this season. 15 goals and 10 assists, those are impressive numbers for someone who doesn't get proper recognition and he will very soon if he keeps up these big performances because he's on the right track in his career right now.

Lol Barca fans complaining about a ref that Real Madrid has 50% win rate with him in charge as that ref is under investigation of corruption, with same ref Barca have around 80% win rate. Barca fans live in their own world.

The thing the English media can't seem to understand is that La Liga is a much more competitive league with greater talent and stronger overall teams.

Rodrygo is a tough choice for Ancelotti because he is a type of player who might step up on big occasions and provide that little but of magic. But if Real Madrid wants to control the midfield and build up from the back he might not be the best choice. Vini likes to stay really wide and when rodrygo stays so wide as well then front 3 are really disconnected and it showed in benzemas game also. It worked well only when kroos made these beautiful long passes to switch the sides but for some reason he is not playing long diagonals as often as he used to. It’ll be really difficult against city. Hopefully city is too cocky and blow it
