Meanwhile, Fabinho has not travelled to Germany with his Liverpool teammates as he looks set to join Saudi Arabian Pro League team Al-Ittihad in a deal worth around £40m.

Imo Liverpool will either: 1) wait until Jan for CDM or 2) buy someone boss out of the blue. Hendo and Fab are gone regardless.
Henderson has got 1 more year with us before going to Saudi! Fabinho is definitely gone. Palhinha is perfect replacement for the next 3-4 years. Edson Alvarez is the perfect replacement for the next 7-8 years. Sign Kone as the Wijnaldum replacement we never got till this day. We’ll deal with Henderson replacement next year!

Is this about g## human rights, or Hendo being valuable!!… all at a sudden, after being slated, 'or is it, 'just football. Every DM option on the market is going to be at AFCON, Amrabat, Seko Fofana, Sangare, Kessie, Anguissa.. only really leaves you with Brozovic, Paulinha, Caicedo and Tchouameni none of which are doable, and Lavia.. if we can get Amrabat and Lavia for £80m combined I think we will roll the dice with the LCB situation and give Robbo till Jan to prove he's capable

It's a risk that's for sure , Hendo going as well would be a mistake in my opinion. We been crying about needing more quality in midfield , we've lost 3 and now Fabinho and brought 2 in . If Hendo goes it's a lot to expect from new guys . YNWA

Totally agree we can’t loose to many experienced players in one summer. I’d be doing anything to keep hendo for one more season. Imagine how much help he’d be to the new guys in giving them insight on the finer points of playing for a klopp team.
This rebuild seems to be decending into an ocean of shit by the look of things. I have no faith in FSG making funds available to do som real strengtening of the squad other than young, inexperienced, low wages players that might turn out good in a couple of seasons🤷🏼♂️ In the meantime having Hendo stinking out pitches all around England is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Surely the answer is to flog Fab & tell Hendo he can't go this season. End of. If the Saudi's think they're going to get him on a free, they're not at the races anyway. Also David Lynch says Hendo would be on a quarter of the reported 700k. Lavia still a good bet but agree he's too young currently & we ideally need a specialist DM aged between 23-25. Supposedly Sangare at PSV is a target too who would potentially fit the bil in terms of age, quality & price….. possibly. However not homegrown obviously so we probably end up back at Lavia rightly or wrongly.

Also find the difference in way people see spending on Colwill and Lavia rather strange.

Ridiculous to damn Hendo for going on the LGBT front. What you're doing is damning him because he has previously taken positive steps in that area. If he had not done this then no one would be commenting on it. So would you prefer it if he had not done this good work? Because that is the argument that is being made here. Him making a financial decision to look after his family, his children and his children's children, is an understandable and reasonable one.
I'm happy for him to stay and if he wishes to leave then I'm very grateful for the hard work and success that he has delivered.

We should be in for Sangare he's perfect for us and ready to start now. He's 25y/o, 6f3", DM playing for PSV and available for around £30-35m. Defensively he's strong, physical and fast with an excellent motor and he's an excellent tackler, blocker, ball clearer and in the air. Offensively he's got good ball retention, great passer, good long passer and excellent progressive passer, excellent 1-on-1, and he's even got an eye for goal which he's successful at. We looked at him last season but decided we didn't need any midfielders… I PRAY we get him, for £30-35m he's incredible.
Liverpool should sign Ibrahim Sangare from PSV for the DM position if they can’t get Tchouameni from Real Madrid
