I am sorry but this holier than though nonsense with referees is doing my head in. These guys are infallible and answer to nobody. Absolute joke!
If the refs had mics like Rugby would he be acceptable to hear that on the broadcast or to the stadium with child present?
This is even annoying with referee couldn't make right calls any more and they have VAR to help them make right calls. Now that's what y'all should be talking about. Referee not gonna be proctected making wrong calls and the level of inconsistent is insane. That's what y'all need to be taking about.

The refs need to share more info and in that situation explain that VAR have checked and he took the player, then VVD would not be left thinking another mistake has been made. Remember that shocking decision with Macallister last week??? Refs and VAR need to do much better to help manage situations. Problem is, there have been too many mistakes already, only game week 3.
This is the most debate I've ever heard of a red card in my life, and what's even more confusing is that the discussion is so one sided, it's just loads of people saying "Yeah that's a red card" so how are we still talking about it????? How can so many people say the same thing to one another and then keep saying it????????
Do you think he might have been more accepting of the red card if one of his team mates hadn't been red carded the week before and it had gotten overruled as soon as the match finished? Kind of hard to respect the refs decision when one week before to the same team they gave someone a straight red when they shouldn't have, isn't it?
LFC fan here. He should absolutely be banned for additional games after his reaction as that kind of behavior needs to be stamped out. Totally unacceptable and a terrible role model for any youngster watching, especially for such a senior player and club captain. Always been a big fan but he's gone down in my estimation after such a ridiculous tantrum.

You know what I've failed to hear anyone mention. JOELINTON gestured to the referee that he should give a card from the backpocket and wasn't carded along with about 6 fouls he committed throughout the game.

The match officials must stop their fixing of matches. They must be investigated because no way on earth can they make such simple and obvious mistakes there must be some betting involved.
it was a red they player should never ever respect a referee. not in the referree work contract command resoect send them off when you dont like the look of them wtf. the ref should do thier job full stop.
