  1. Meritocratic, yes. But merit must not only come from the field. Merit also comes from great management of all these big clubs for such a long time. That's also one type of merit. It's on that basis that those 12 clubs were chosen. There are two aspects of football and both aspects can be rewarded.

  2. seems as though Psg and Bayern knew what was going to happen and took advantage to put themselves in places of power following the backlash from the fans, leagues, Uefa and fifa. One has to ask the question that if the Super League founders did a better job of organizing and communicating the benifits and structure of the proposed new compitition, would they have been able to help everyone accept this proposal with open arms instead of the reaction recieved?

Anyways, Forza Juve and forza GJustJuve! Finoallafine!

  3. Can this kick start my dream Inter ac milan and atlanta will lose points in next 5 matches in a row and Juve lift the scudetto
But this will remain a dream

  4. Ronaldo Project – so far hasn’t delivered the big prize, Pirlo Project – disappointing, ESL Project – went up in flames faster than the Hindenburg!

  5. Well… In so many interviews that I watched, very few knew that the Super League would take place. Maldini was for sure not the only one. Most of the world was tanken by surprise, no? I believe they knew the league would never go down well among the people, so they held us as fools and pulled the rabbit out of the hat.

  6. It's true that a lot of young people doesn't watch football anymore. And also a lot of people are tired of Uefa monopoly. The fans and clubs should have the last word.

  7. Agnelli remains the number 1 of Juventus. He has the full support of the Juventus fans. This is why Juventus is unique.

  8. I am a bit concerned Beppe. Ceferin is talking like a ruthless mafioso (ie about canceling the Chelsea-Madrid game, which won't happen but even bringing it up..) and clearly feels empowered by his victory. And since Juve is in a much more vulnerable position than Madrid, with less power and connections, and Ceferin now appears to despise Agnelli, I think we'll be the worst affected by any reprisals. That being said, if we end up outside the top 4 I'd prefer to be banned from Europe for a year and focus on Serie A. And despite everything, I would rather Agnelli stay than this Nasi character, we need men with passion for Juve even if they make mistakes, rather than some businessman with no football experience or connections.
