Where was the same energy for Brighton when they switched between their two keepers earlier this season?
Raya has been good since … check his stats in Brentford
Do these guys look at the stats
Everyone forgot there is Champions league football to play
There is litterally no drama apart the one created out of thin air from the media
Biggest problem i have with media outlets is constantly creating dramatic headlines for views. You can clearly see that Arsenal have two critical fixtures ahead and are giving themselves the opportunity to rotate the squad as they should.
Raya is good on the ball Soo…. I prescribe him
The pundits on the goalkeeper rotation: “I haven’t seen it before so it must be bad” 😂
They trying to make drama out of nothing. The manager knows what he's doing with the players stop the flabbergast espn fc.
This is literally what every team truly wants, two players that can come into the team and the level stays the same or even better depending on the situation. Arteta is unfortunately not the same as Ten Hag that will divulge insider decisions to the public, he has his reasons but it's for the team to know and I guess he actually gives pundits something to talk and speculate and give their 'professional' opinions on otherwise they would just be sitting there talking about things all of us know already
Arteta clearly thought that this was a good opportunity for Raya to get a real game under his belt while Ramsdale had been busy playing and training with England. Ramsdale Will more than likely be first choice for the Champions League this coming week. Not much to see here unless there has been an internal issue that the public would not be aware of.
That's some impressive editing from ESPN I didn't want to hear the end of Frank's sentence anyway
How long is the actual broadcast of these? like an hour? If so is it worth paying for this service
It's modern game. Like Arteta said; You need competition on every position. Keeper is like another player
football has move on from the olden days, ESPN should move on, let Arteta do his job.
There is literally no drama
This type of media likes adding fuel on fire, what’s the problem having competition in every position?
Seriously speaking..Raya is sick..His distribution is top notch.. Plus..he's incredibly calm and collected…Initially, I was critical of Arteta's decision of bringing in David Raya but now I'm buzzing..The Gaffer might just have gotten it right.
We won the game and had a keeper that played the exact game we required – look at his passing stats.
Arteta is simply revolutionising the way we think about keepers – this soft narrative re needing ‘a number 1’ is not based on any objective factual reality’s
We have 2 great keepers and let’s lean into both of their talents to help us achieve our aims this season. Ramsdale and Raya both have huge roles to play this season and so not be surprised to see them rotate in the league and CL.
Having Raya in goal was tactical, Ramsdale never commands the box like Raya does going for the crosses and matching the physical tall Everton attackers.
U r just trying to creat drama out of nothing. U don't understand it cos u r not a manager
These pundits are still leaving in the past; at Arsenal we have no No. 1 goalkeepers but rather we use our goalies to their strength. Arteta says that one of his biggest regrets was him not having the courage to sub off Rambo at 65th and 85th min last season because in these two matches our goalie committed blunders that cost us to draw both matches. Arterta is a modern football manager using the agile scrum frame work; which employs an iterative, incremental approach to optimizing predictability which can then be used to control risk. Arteta is the real deal! Raya looked calm and comfortable on the ball giving confidence to the back four.
Raya had a much better game than Ramsdale has had for Arsenal this season so why criticize the choice? Ridiculous oundits.
Ramsdale communicates and encourages away fans too much, good decision dropping him for this game
