Copa America next year will be his biggest test to see if this was a good choice.
I don't see Pep as a national team manager, simply because his style of football requires so much discipline from players, and I don't know if he could transmit that to his players if he only works with them once every few months.
Take Jack Grealish, it took him a whole year to properly understands his assignment under Pep
People need to respect Kilnsman he can't US football and the way the young players think he made alot of them go abroad very early to learn
#BenchBerhaltor,. What 2022 WC? He started Jesus, and didn't even bring Pepi. We played Whales to a draw that could have put us a chance to go through 1st in our group. Against the Dutch, he didn't realize the type of defense they played and way over committed players. 2026 is a once in a life time generation chance and we are saying let's see what we have in Gregg. Just because players like a coach doesn't mean he's a good fit. He is good at recruiting duel nationals, and that could be a good spot for him within USSF. Let him be a 'recruiter'
Had a high school coach the year before we had a coach we all hated but we went undefeated winning 2 tournaments and the league. He got a college job afterwards.
We ended loving his replacement but we were an awful team we went from 38-0 to 7-7-14

Berhalter being coach again is an absolute joke. This is our golden generation and we’re wasting it on a guy that took Jesus Ferreira and Shaq Moore to the World Cup over Ricardo Pepi & Joe Scally

Gregg literally failed when considering the player pool.
The only reason he’s considered a success is bc the Federation was at such a low point before he took over. This Squad is way better than Wales. Way better than Iran. No reason those games should have gone the way they did. He was awful in qualifying, awful in the friendlies before the world cup. Pretty bad in the World Cup considering the pool. Whats his biggest accomplishments? Beating the worst Mexican team in a long time? Possibly history? And doing so 3-2??? Drawing a poorly coached England side 0-0? Getting embarrassed in the RO16? How are people convinced in this guy. The mainstream media like him bc that’s what they are paid to do.
