Son might actually be the perfect striker for Maddison. Kane would drop deep and interfere with what Maddison is doing so well right now. Son is now a bit older and might be better suited to play centrally and get in behind on those Maddison through balls. Unfortunately Maddison has a track record of annual injuries.
We can't win the league… surely not…

As long as the lad can stay fit, there is a whole lot he can do to help Spurs finish in a better place at the end of the season.
The goal will probably be to get back to Europe and have a good run in the FA Cup.

For me, the two best transfers in the summer were Maddison and Ward-Prowse. 40 million and 30 million respectively. It's obvious from the first four games that they've brought something to their new team and hit the ground running, and will continue to play a big part this season.
