Mikkel Damsgaard has traveled to Italy to begin the next chapter of his life and professional football career at U.C. Sampdoria.
Mikkel came to FC Nordsjælland as a U13 player from Jyllinge FC through our strong network of collaboration clubs. Despite a couple of tough youth years, where teammates and opponents were suddenly bigger, stronger and faster, Mikkel managed to overcome his challenges and made his debut on our Superliga team as a mere 17-year-old.
And he has not looked back since.
He crowned his final season in the 3F Superliga with 11 goals, 5 assists, a place on the team of the year and a nomination as Young Player of the Year.

Fed historie, elsker FCN, Hvidovre, Brøndby, Lyngby, KB,FCM osv. For deres store arbejde i deres breddeklub afdelinger, det er simpelthen fantastisk at se. STJERNER kommer kun ud af hårdt arbejde og den rigtige tilgang, man skal huske klubberne bagved, og de venner, og folk som støtter en i modgangs tiden. De er der når alt ser træls ud. Dejligt at se at du husker dem der hjalp dig Mikkel. Og det vigtigste er at du bare fortsætter med at være dig, og skid hul i andre folks forventninger, du skal ikke være bedre end andre, du skal bare være den bedste du kan. Så kan de klaphatte sige i fremtiden, eeej ham der kan måske blive den nye Damsgaard. 🙂 Alt det bedste herfra. =)

Heyy I know a late reaction but the past few months I've been starting to be a football fan again. My favourites stopped playing football and now Mason Mount and Mikkel Damsgaard became my favourites and because of them I started to love football again. I think Fc Nordjaesland (sorry if I spelled it wrong) is a amazing club
