Jackson needs to be the main striker. Awful for morale if we just sign new players when current players have shown promise. Not keen on this due to Broja being a gem, and this would likely oust him.

This will be a terrible decision. The club is recovering from having too many squad players and this is a step backwards. Chelsea is not in UCL, so not many matches to play. We need a lean and mean squad. Broja is there to compete with Jackson, and can build his fitness before Jackson leaves in January. Jackson will be at the African Cup for a month maximum, not forever. Also, Nkunku relishes the CF position and easily fits there. Vlahovic is an unnecessary risk. We could get Kane for free next summer if none of these guys work out.
I just hope Jackson stay confident. over past few seasons we seen many players lose all there confidence in front of goal. I’ve got faith in new management tho
Looks like everyone in agreement to dump the lump Lukaku, but not in agreement about swap for Vhalovic. We’ve got ask ourselves why Juventus wants rid so desperately, is he injured, he doesn’t appear to be prolific either, also his wages are almost at Lukakus’ level!
I wonder if we let Lukaku sweat it out long enough, would he eventually take the Saudi deal or would he rather sit at home with no football. I reckon if push came to shove he’d be off to sand land so quick he’d make Mudryk look like a snail.
No doubt Jackson has looked great this preseason but honestly think only so much stock can be put into that. And yes he ended last season on a hot streak but I most of those goals were against clubs in the bottom half of the La Liga table, so he might’ve just been feasting on weaker competition, especially when comparing it to the Premier League. Vlahovic is the striker I want from the start of the window. I know his stats were underwhelming with Juve but I think he just might’ve been in a system/situation that didn’t suit him best or give him great service, because he had 17 goals in 21 games with Fiorentina at the time he transferred to Juve in January. If he was our starting out and out striker last season I think it’s legitmately possible he would’ve scored 20+ goals with the service he would’ve got, that’s how bad Havertz and whoever else we put there was at finishing lol

I actually wanted vlahovic before seeing jackson play, now i prefer jackson. But if this is the only way to get rid of lukaku, then swap for vlahovic it is!!
Kai Havertz is not a striker, but any midfielder that can’t create like mount has to go aswell
Dusan not only does not guarantee goals he gets in the way of Broja and Jackson’s progress. We don’t want or need a striker that has already shown he struggles if the team doesn’t play to his strengths even in a weaker league.
I think this is the only way to offload Lukaku… Chelsea should do this Deal…Dusan and Jackson as both striker's that's a good deal
t is not going to be too far in the future that USA will try out a mini tournament for the 2nd tier European teams who r not in CL or EL. I honestly do not think we need another striker at this point. It will upset the balance of the team. Jackson is delivering the goods, and we should get behind that. Bringing in an out of form Vlahovic isnt the best idea. We have enough capable firepower upfront

I think Vlahovic in place of Lukaku is a gamble worth taking, even if Chelsea have to pay a little on top. The ideal is that we have two players competing for each outfield position. Broja, it seems, won't be ready at all for the start of the season so it'll be good to have another central striker option in case Jackson gets injured plus we're likely to be without him when the African Cup of Nations finals take place midway through this coming PL season.
No way this swap deal will go ahead, lukaku plus 50 your having a giraffe. Vlahvoic is average at best, save your money and force Lukaku to go to Saudi.

I might be absurdly wrong but from the games that I have seen so far in the preseason Jackson could well be another Tammy Abraham which would still be good enough in terms of goals
