Having all these big names players come from all over the planet. Makes the MLS more interesting, popular and wanting to go to the games more, the MLS started way back when it wasn’t a league yet.. Where you had the outstanding Pele, and Chinaglia, Steve Hunt and Buckenbauer just to name a few, when they played for the NY Cosmos in the late 70’s into the 80’s… As a high schooler I played with them in the Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey with My Undefeated High School Hoboken High.. ( New Jersey) We we’re state champs for 19 yrs consecutively.. Being that we were undefeated the Cosmos came to New Jersey to the Meadowlands Stadium and we had a friendly game.. Man it was heaven to all of us young high schoolers . man are we playing with Pelé really wow.. So my point is, even though it was North American Soccer League and it lasted for 16 yrs. That’s the league that got it all started specially after having to be the Host of FIFA World Cup in 1993.. And the te MLS got its name back in 1994.. And the rest is history and what a history, it’s come a long way… So yes I am a big fan ( a FANATIC)of the game, the league and players.. I just hope that the owners Jose and Jorge Mas and David Beckham will definitely get the missing link which would the one and only Uruguayo Luis Suárez.. Then with his acquirement to Inter Miami (hopefully they can fix the deferences with the present team he’s with the Gremio Federation Club) MLS would start getting the league to be as popular as Bundesliga, Canadian Premier League, The Uruguayan League Primera Division or the Argentina Liga Primera División.. I just hope that the MLS becomes more watch and talked about as all these other Leagues and makes it just as big that the European players and just European but Central America or Asian players and so on… would want to come here to the states and play…
