Hendo despite his lows was never questioned about his captaincy , not a single fan , not klopp ,not FSG ever raised eyebrows over him despiter there being players who were performing at levels way higher than him , Mo, VVD , Robbo , Ali to name a few . We saw what happened to Hendo , he was a player who relied mostly on his engine and not saying he was not a good player but his biggest asset was his engine along with his ability to do the task given to him and sacrifice for team , he covered for Mo and TAA , there is a player in Hendo which we could never truly see due to the situation at times but for him to come out and say is stupid . Klopp gave you the world with the last contract , you should be self aware of your age ability ratio , but the guy name Szobo playing now for lfc is showing more than what hendo showed
Good on him for leaving. He will be remembered as a great captain. One of the best and most influential. There are so many issues in the world at the moment which you can Google out there. The fact that this is one of them is just ridiculous 😂

When Salah got a 350k a week salary yes the locker room was upset! Mane went to Bayern in a similar wage! Hendo was a far better player and captain than everyone expected! I think Hendo has let himself down with this interview sadly.
At best, we can all see what's happened and a disappointed Hendo has maybe tried to be too honest and not come across in the way he intended.
At worst, he comes across as not that bright and somewhat self-entitled. Slightly spoiling his legacy. I hope time can heal that.
Ultimately a fantastic servant of the Club who gave his all. His prime years were awesome.
