He is a professional sportsman, paid hundreds of thousands to play football, in the public eye, nothing else, but he has been going from car crash to car crash at all levels as far as expectation goes
Saying someone isn’t up to the mark expected isn’t abuse, it’s honesty, maybe Maguire should seek to improve himself, perform, and people would leave him alone
He can handle the pressure yet his mam has to come out and make a public statement about it when he shouldn’t even be in the team to begin with
Saying the criticism makes no sense because he's not playing is a wild statement.
The criticism is that if he isn't good enough to play for clun he isn't good enough to play for England
The only joke is Southgate defending him and putting him in the team when there's players who have actually played for the club they are signed for. It will stop when the player and manager understand that he doesn't deserve to wear the shirt when there have been players who outperform him.

Oh poor Harry. Turned down a move a few weeks ago because he wanted 12M as opposed to the 6M United offered him to go to West ham. He is 5/6th choice CB at club level and Southgate has picked him for international duty. Shouldn't be newsworthy and shouldn't be anywhere near the national team.

This is utterly embarassing, firstly Southgate has made the situation worsw with his little outburst after the game which reminded me of a lover who didn't like how his partner was treated so felt he had to leap to his defense, end of the day a player getting abused/bantered/ripped by rival fans is totally standard in football so how can their be any complaints about that, and the source of this rival abuse/banter/ripping is from the countless fck ups he has made over the years which have been well documented on YT compilation videos some are 10 straight minutes of his fck ups, no pundits or commentstors have abuses home, some have simply stated their opinion that he isn't good enough, that is not abuse, some fans and pundits don't feel he should play for England just because he's "never let them down before" which is right you should not being playing for England based on what who have done in the past it should be who is best on current form but we all know Southgate has his besties, if Harry wants to talk about abuse go talk to Becks after the WC98 that was true vile abuse, or go talk to CR7 after WC06 wink that was real abuse but what did they do, kept their mouth shut and went on to have amazing seasons, carears and became legends, this is all psthetic but a sign of the pusy snow flake society of today
