Bruno Fernandes has created more chances than anybody else in the Premier League since he joined Manchester United, so imagine what he is going to do now we’ve got a proper centre-forward in Rasmus Hojlund.

In this video, Sam explains why Fernandes & Hojlund’s partnership on paper looks set to be so good and if it works why it can be the catalyst for a new look, dominant United side.

  1. If Bruno Fernandes has created more chances than anybody in the Premier League since he arrived, imagine what he could do with an actual centre-forward like Rasmus Hojlund? Excited to see their partnership.

Good to be back after a few days away from the lunchtime videos, drop a like if you enjoyed the video x

  2. Christian Eriksen doesn't ignore Højlunds run, he probably saw and acknowledge that the Arsenal right back were moving towards the middle to support the guy defending Højlund, and therefore pass it to Rashford.. The maestro sees it all 🤫🔥🔥🔥

  3. I love the team and want to be positive about this, but this is something they will need to practice until is normal cause Bruno sometimes can pick the wrong pass or retain the ball too much, Rashford not given the ball at all and the rest of players not noticing runs or positions. Look at the few matches DVB played, his attacking positioning and runs into the box were years ahead to what United was used to play, and it was frustrating to see the team not feeding those passes or recycling the ball back 😒😒. Hope United can now use properly his No.9

  4. why have none of you guys picked up on Odegaard got booked for time wasting them minutes added on Arsenal scored in Odegard's booking for adding time changes the score talk about cheating never pays it does when your Arsenal

  5. When a player like Bruno is about to touch the ball, front players need to start running. Players like Jota and the other Portugal do this a lot. Rashforward does it occasionally but United players as a whole don't do it enough.

When you have a passer who can find you anywhere on the pitch, just run. If the ball doesn't come to you, it'll at least shake up the opponent's back line and create space for teammates.

  6. I also think Hojlund is that one secrete recipe we've been looking for, because Bruno is the best he is going to bring out the best of Hojlund, and link up between the wingers this is going to be amazing.

  7. bruno wont get so much space in the PL, and its against lux, a country population of ard 650k+. but still nice to see most united players doing well for their countries. hope they bring their good form back this weekend..

  8. 4:26. Sam, I don't think Eriksen can play that cross around that player from that position. He'd have to probably hit it with the outside of his foot for it to curve from away from Hojlund or shimmy/feint to get a better angle at which point it would probably be too late

  9. If Hojlund is to be served with goal scroing chances by Bruno, than he is going to be facing some rather hard times this season. Bruno's stats is "descriptive", but there has been a major drop off in the meaning of the term "chances created". Bruno is not cut out for the best teams in the Premier League. Unfortunately, in Bruno's stats there is a large count of clear chances squandered, long crosses missed by a mile, simple passes easily intercepted by opponent defenders, he rarely hits the frame of the goal from any distance he shoots. He is not the player we thought he would be.

  10. It's worth mentioning that his aerial ability is prob one of his weakest areas of his game, so people shouldn't expect a dominant player in the air at this stage of his career even though he's 6 foot 3
