Foden and Bellingham were electric together tonight, imagine them behind Kane, with Saka on the right and Grealish/Rashford left, it’d be unreal to watch but the prick just won’t do it. Wasting it man.

So, if it's a choice between Foden and Bellingham in a 4-3-3? You have to choose 1 and leave one on the bench. Foden has played on the left and I'd prefer him to Grealish or Rashford there. But I think Sterling should still be first choice on the left. Then you could put Foden on the right, but then it's a choice between him and Saka. Saka is great at coming in from the right and striking with his left and he's also a great provider. So, yes, England are spoilt for choice in the 10 role and left wing and right wing.
Honestly Gareth Southgate comes out with some stupid comments… foden doesn’t play for city in the 10 because we Litreally have the best 10 in the world kdb nothing he says ever makes sense Phillips doesn’t even play for us neither does Slab head for United is there not a reason for that? If i was english & we had this generation of talent that is only matched by france, I’d organize a riot to sack southgate. This generation of players, especially those who don’t get called up, is a team that can easily win back to back world cups easily. Sadly, southgate & nepotism with his boys philips & mguire.
Phil Foden is the most bizzare player in the England team. Arsenal fan here: he's definitely more talented than Saka but seems less effective. Saka, save for yesterday, is 7 out of 10 every game. Foden, not so much. He plays really well for Man City, in a variety of roles, & then Pep maroons him on the bench for whatever reason. He's a hardworker as well and does the running required for pressing and defense. All that said, I've never seen him in a 10 role save for a couple of games, especially against New Castle and I think because he doesn't not think the game like Kevin. Pep requires a certain acumen, à la Silva, to shift you into the interior of the field & i think in due time he will be shifted inside.
Gareth will always go with stability over potential because that's what the international game requires. Hence the same strategy over and over again. He picks players we might not like but they are the one's he can trust. For some reason, Foden isn't trust worthy, in any role, especially as a 10, which is an outdated position. Ozil gotta be the last 10 to grace the game and his ass was exiled after the game outgrew his usefulness.
