I really respect Buvey for giving Pickford his props. For far too long people have disrespected Pickford. Yes he’s like marmite. Some people love him some people hate him I get that but he is a very good keeper and has single-handedly kept Everton up for two seasons straight, and has done nothing wrong at international level.
For as much as people want Ramsdale to get a go and I do understand it he runs the risk of being benched in two to three months time. Arsenal spent 40 million on David Raya who some people can make an argument is actually a better keeper than Ramsdale hence why Arsenal bought him to compete with Ramsdale.
Nick Pope is good too but I do believe when it comes to crunch time; you can’t afford any mistakes you go with the tried and tested. People have to remember in international tournaments there’s little margin for error: why remove Pickford as number 1 when he’s done nothing to lose his spot it’s just changing for the sake of it

I think if we're playing a back five, trent should be the starting rwb. In the case of a back four, Walker and Reece get ahead of him. The problem with England is that we are far too sat back during games, we have pace in the front wings with Rashford and Saka as well as a clinical finisher in Kane yet we cant make enough opportunities for them. Trent would definetly help with that, and could play the inverted role like he has been the last few games for england.

For me, if Toney comes back firing in January, he is definitely in the squad.
