      Man United is like a bad thing for some players in the last years this team make them worst hapoened to Di Maria ,Maguire,Ronaldo and others poor management ,bad investments ,bad managers is not Maguire fault because Man.Unuted choose to pay for him that amount and is not his fault because they choose him as captain thats a big pression and is not easy when everubody wait for his mistakes to booed him its not nice not fair

      It's pretty simple…In less talented teams you will be on the defensive more often and thus have more support at the back…But on better teams you will be left on an island to defend alone higher up the field…And this is where he was exposed because he doesn't have the pace, quickness nor technical skills to get him out of danger…

      If you see his stats, the percentage of won and lost duels and aerial duels is pretty much the same. Right now his performance is low because of low morale. But at first his low performance could be caused by a change in Manchester defending style. He is a slow player who definitely suffers when defending large spaces. Perhaps defending in smaller spaces his performance would increase (it is easier always to defend smaller spaces, but some players are better than others) .

      Actually think he is okay in a 3. The problem is with modern football now is every player has be able to be comfortable on the ball. The days have when a gone when a clearance becomes a long ball because you have 2 forwards who chase everything.

      To me he kind of looks like he has developed actual cognitive issues, maybe lost a bit of his sense of balance which is not out of the question for a defender who will get hit in the head with the ball an astounding number of times. Those things do take a toll. It's easy to joke around looking at all of this from the comfort of one's couch, but he might actually have serious issues.

      Nah-He was shit by 2019. I remember the jokes when euro came around

      He reminds me of Lovren. VERY-Good… when he’s focused. But both almost loose focus and then a big error comes on. Sad but reality of being a defender. You can go from not doing anything to bring last line of defense on a counter attack
