Argentine should start build a new core without Messi. 39 will be too old to lead for another WC. While Messi currently still maintains his vision and accuracy in pass etc., he is notably slower already and some Messi magics, especially those require fast running, dribbling etc. will be very difficulty for him in another 3 years. Lionel Messi just cannot stop scoring goals for the Argentina national team and he’s been on a purple patch for them in front of goal of late and he’s continuing to go strong for his country even at the age of 36. In 2026, the next World Cup he would’ve turned 39 by then and probably would’ve already retired from football, I think he has one more major tournament in him for Argentina and that’s the Copa America in 2024 and more importantly last year he finally won the World Cup which meant that he had won every major trophy available to him and he has nothing left to play for at this level and can play for the national team a little longer without having to deal with pressure. Lionel Messi won’t make the next World Cup nah not happening.
