We haven't lost 5 though really, have we? Ox and Naby weren't contributing so I don't count them. I think the captaincy thing while relevant, has been overblown a little. I don't mind the clearly out as long as it's done with ambition in mind. I'm happy to take the risk of not being in a title race this season if it means us being competitive long-term.

If they had done this gradually like all top clubs do then they wouldn't have had to do this
I'm buying Kone and Lavia
I'd prefer Caicedo ,but I'd take equally take Kone and Lavia for the same money you'd by for just Caicedo, as they can both fight it out with Bajcetic for central defencive midfield.Then as they get older Bajcetic and kone can play peak Wijnaldum Henderson roles
Big fan of Jurgen going from "tell me what midfielder we need" last summer to 5 of them leaving this summer

Henderson looking a terrible captain right now. Had the most to say about middle eastern countries re: the world cup but all of a sudden when he gets offered a big contract he forgets all of that. He gets told he'll have a smaller playing role but he would be needed to help new signings and young players. Has the change to prove himself as a real captain and leader in the dressing room and wants to run off for money
seeing the news today of fabinho basically gone and switching the profile of midfielder we are looking at, someone more for the present than a project. I can see us getting amrabat, which is a good signing and is basically the same price we are selling fabinho for. a midfield of szoboszlai, Mac and amrabat, is nice to see. Legs, balance and talent. Mac being the box to box all rounder, amrabat cleaning up and doing the dirty work and szoboszlai being the attack minded player who can shoot from distance (something we have missed since ox was a regular). szoboszlai, Mac, amrabat, thiago, curtis, bajetic and harvey, not a bad rotation of players.
Caicedo £100m or Lavia & Thuram for £90m!? It's a no brainer people!
Imagine bellingham, haaland, rice going to their respective clubs waiting for the captain or "leader" to welcome them with open arms so they are relaxed. If you need this as a footballer, you defo shouldnt be playing for liverpool.
Experience doesn't mean anything when you're rubbish. Henderson, milner, fabinho dont make us better as a team. All this talk just shows you guys dont know what's been wrong with this team. Our problem has never been leadership. We lack quality, technical ability

I don't think we can count the 4 that left …ox milner firmino keita, we're always on their way out. This im.sorry to say,was klopps fault, the time we had needed proven players to come and enhance liverpools chances to win the major honours. That didn't happen Henderson & Fabinho leaving is for the best. Whether it was this year or the year after, it was always gonna happen. This was never going to be an easy rebuild for liverpool, because we have an ageing first 11. The midfield are not good enough. I'm ready for this, bring it on.
We need an Amrabat now
I get what they are saying here, all the midfielders that are leaving are essentially not good on the football pitch for us to go forward. Aslong as we get a couple more in, I’m fine even if we’re in adjustment period

Looks like we'll loose both fab and Hendo but sign Lavia and Kone. No way we're getting caceido. In the long run, its a good move but cant see us wining the title with a completely new midfield
The only reason why Liverpool doing this let go all the 5 midfielder is because we didn't buy any new midfielder last season!!! The problem starts from Klopp decision who don't want to buy because he thought Jude Bellingham will come this season!
Even if Hendo stays which looks likely now and Fab is the one to go. Still think we need 2 more esp if Lavia is one of the 2, can't be relying on a 19 y/o to be the only dm all season
