  1. Conmebol: Oye Perú esa Australia te bailo sabroso.
    Perú: Perdimos ante el mejor.
    Conmebol: Pero no parecía tan…
    Perú: Perdimos ante el mejor

  2. Es obvio que la comisión técnica de Perú debió haber visto este video, no hicieron su trabajo y por eso este payaso hizo de las suyas. Sin embargo, un buen pateador hubiera escogido al centro y arriba, con eso lo fusilaba.

  3. Nothing to do with his stupid dancing. He would have saved more penalties if he was keeping properly against peru

  4. Are the keepers supposed to jump around like that? Thought they are meant to stay in one spot and only move when the player is about to kick.

  5. Professional sport is all about doing anything you can to gain even the slightest advantage (within the laws of the sport). Cycling is a great example. The amount of money and research that goes into producing more aerodynamic, lighter equipment (even if a component is only 10grams lighter than the year prior) is worth pursuing. Marginal gains is the term.

Of course, in addition to potentially putting off the player like this keeper does, most keepers talk to the players to get into their heads approaching them at the penalty spot before the ref tends to intervene. The Peruvian keeper in this game had a cheat sheet taped to his water bottle, so Redmaybe picked that up and threw it away. It's how it goes man.

  6. Oooft, even I'd be embarrassed with that panenka effort. You can see how disappointed he is by the way his run up seamlessly blends into his run away

  7. Así que era común en el hacer eso jajajaja
Australia no tendrá un fútbol muy importante a nivel mundial pero que hermoso estadio de fútbol
En Argentina no existen estadios como ese

  8. Whilst it's entertaining as hell, I dunno if that's the best form of trying to save penalties. All that over-the-top movement back and forth means that he can't exactly set himself up for a full stretch or anything on either side. Try that in the World Cup against World Class penalty takers and they'll bury them easy for sure.

  9. This goalkeeper has just created a new style of playing using distraction and estrategy and not only talent. That why you are our hero Andrew Redmayne forever in peruvian hearts
