      I would you can’t leave your teammates in the middle of a tournament because you’re not getting your own way he should think himself lucky this is the worst crop of defenders we’ve had in 30 years there’s always been leaders in the defence in the past Rio, sol Campbell, Terry, adams to name a few what’s there now Maguires not good enough stones is overrated nobody else and white still can’t get in so what does that show

      I think people are forgetting how Ben White buggered off before a tournement started using the excuse of 'it's not a nice atmosphere' arsenal fans will see this boy fed up of the game in 3 years

      Hilarious how people in the comments are pretending like they know what went on.

      The only thing we all know for sure is that Ben White is better than players currently starting ahead of him. There might be a good reason for that, and there might not.

      Ben White with no issues whatsoever in his footballing career, at any team, finds problems in the England squad. Nothing to do with his character it was just probably a falling out somewhere.

      It shouldn't matter whether who is manager if you're not that bothered about playing England you shouldn't be in the squad. Millions would give anything to wear the shirt and you sack it off in the middle of a tournament. Actually pathetic

      Ben white didn’t see the point of wasting his time with the England squad. It was a waste of his time because he was the best RB in the PL that season and wasn’t even considered in any of the games. Was better for him to leave and concentrate on his fitness and arsenal.

      I have to say that there’s just something weird about White. The whole proudly not liking football and it’s just a job thing. It just doesn’t sit well with a lot of people. I feel like playing for your country isn’t just a job too, so that’s probably why Gareth isn’t interested.

      Southgate is a fraud manager picking players who dont play regularly & leaving players out who are playing well I.e white,sterling & Ward Prouse. Managers I would suspect have fallings out with players all the time but would continue to pick them because they are good for the team/ squad he ain’t got the minerals to do that.

      Southgate used to preach hes going to be the manager that picks players based on form instead of their NAME. Well picking Maguire, Philips and Henderson is the direct CONTRADICTION. The FA don't want to win they want a puppet imagine these players with Klopp, Pep, Ancelotti even Eddie Howe…

      As a Chelsea fan I hate to say it. But Ben white is probably England’s best defender. Yet maguire gets to go play in front him without much of any game time. Make it make sense southgate 😂😂😂
