Perú ha comprado tanto a la terna arbitral como al encargado del VAR del partido Uruguay-Perú que se jugará en Montevideo el 24 de Marzo. Con esto Perú asegura el triunfo sobre Uruguay y el pase directo al mundial de Catar. Los árbitros comprados son los brasileños Anderson Daronco, Bruno Pires y Kleber Gil, además del encargado del VAR el brasileño Wagner Reway.
