The level of sports journalism in the UK is shocking.
The whole team were shattered not just Fabinho if we truthfull, I mean even Trent and Salah were crap.ans Van Dyke and Hendo , Jota was injured and on and on , even Allisson ! Imagine how hard it was to go again after what happened! So Fab could easily turn around, then again 40 ml not to be sniffed at but it seems a bit Graeme Souness doesn't it ? Too many changes spoil the kop . YNWA. ( just thought of that 😂😂)

I’m not too fussed on Fabinho. He struggled last season and it may well be he needs a change of scenery and I wish him well.
Henderson on the other hand, despite some fans delusions otherwise, is Klopp’s leader on the pitch. He’s the one who gets everyone else into position – the one who provides the motivation when heads go down – the one the other players respect and admire. Ask anyone in the game and they’ll tell you that cannot simply be bought. We would have to be stupid to think ‘getting rid’ would be good for us with such a crucial season ahead.
If HE wants to go that’s different, not much we can do – but we will have the same issue.

Teun Koopmeiners and an Emre Can Return as the best realistic Jordan Henderson fits. Realistic Fabinho replacements could be Joao Palinha and Edson Alvarez who are both class. A proper Wijnaldum replacement we never got should be one of the young engine boys like Lavia, Kone or Haidara. The World Class project midfielders I’d keep my eyes on for the next few years are Sander Berge and Ibrahim Sangare as future No.6 and Ryan Gravenberch and Matheus Nunes as the future No.8s who could turn out to be our Jude Bellinghams
Fabinho has been below par for 18 months, even going back to 21/22 where he wasn’t good for large parts of the season. 40 million for him is a great fee and we can get Lavia as a replacement.
If Henderson goes, we need to make sure we replace him in the team (including his wages) with a proven midfielder.
We definitely also need a CB that is capable of filling in at right back. Gomez is just cover.
I like that we’re finally getting rid of the deadwood. We’re too attached to players who are getting on now. Robertson should be next from the previous era to go by next season, we can get a good fee for him and replace him a good young left sided center back or left back.
We can afford to let Fab leave since Bajetic is excellent
Remember, Fabinho has been a great servant for the club. He played as a centre-back when we were in an defensive injury crisis. Fabinho use to play right-back when he was at Monaco.

bad planning, exodus of people in important positions, and all transfer targets the cheap options. Take Klopp away and we are never competing with this squad. Arsenal have strengthened well so far, would have loved to have the option of Rice now Fabinho & Henderson are leaving.
Fabinho has been a great player but was very poor last season. If you look at how many times he was booked and came very close to being sent off numerous times, what does that tell yer, unfortunately his legs have gone, fouling to cover the lack of pace. So it’s a no brainier to take the money. He do very rarely plays 90 mins, and this is for a reason. Having said that he do still does a great job when he comes on (a lot like James Milner now).
The person I would let go is Thiago. He slows us down when he has the ball and can’t play Klopps pressing game (also injured quite often) if he’s forward he gets bypassed on the counter attack.

"4 in, 5 out in terms of midfielders effectively".. Effectively it's 3 out because Ox and Keita contributed the square root of FA last season and it is unquestionably a positive that they have left the club.
It's a shame Fulhams Paulinha is probably too old for us to spend big on. He was one of the best prem dms last season. Way under rated compared to Caicedo. Fulham would look for 80 mil though
I don’t really get how you can just hang on Jurgens every word anymore after the last 3 seasons. He fucked it in the covid season, we thought he’d learned his lesson the following year but then that summer after missing out on the treble he repeats his mistakes of the past. By all accounts he seemed to think 2 mids was all he needs this summer. That fills me with absolutely no faith that he understands how fragile his squad is. He seems to think that Injuries just won’t happen this time. Do I love him? yes. Does that mean I trust his every decision? No.
