And he was all along mostly a gimmick. He's got a few things but he's not made for the highest calibre. He's just decent and besides that, in the top level in Europe you just need to be consistent and you're picked on the XI, as well as a "star". It takes literally zero effort to kick a ball into a net from that close of a distance, with just another body standing opposite to you, which now titled the advantage towards the shooter much more by making sure the goalkeeper doesn't move from the goal line before the player kicks. If you miss a penalty from that range, most of the time is because you're an idiot.
