Why is it so hard for Manchester United fans to understand we won't get any more players until we sell Maguire, McTominay, Martial, Henderson, the transfer budget has been spent. Maguire doesn't want to leave so Amrabat won't wait.

We need both Amrabat and Amadou Onana in midfield. We need both Pavard and Todibo in defence. One more striker and backup goalie.

90 percent of the problem was physicality, players just werent up to the challenge, its weird considering how busy of a pre season we had, all of em were rusty, the other 10 percent was tactical, bruno and mount are too advanced, one of them has to contribute to buildup more, and also awb plays no part in buildup, he assisted the goal but his progressive pass percentage was horrific, awb is just like degea, a good players with interesting traits that plays no part in a team that wants to play modern football, dalot should play the part and then be replaced by pavard

Mount and issue no control in the middle of strength, nither can he carry the ball, Casemiro was left alone, also Rashford can’t hold the ball upfront, that’s why United needed that strong ball holding striker

I find it fascinating how a goalie is the most accurate passer in a united shirt.
Every one talk like amrabat is the solution United MF. I don’t rate the guy. United should get Nicolo Barella, Romeo Lavia and Eberechi Eze. Apart from WC performance, amrabat has not really been effective like that in serie A. National team football is diff from club football. In serie A he’s behind several midfielders like aguissa,lobotka,Barella,Tonali etc.
Midfield was shite. Casemiro was on vacation, Mount was shit in attack. If he offers nothing in attack like today, he is no better than McTominay, but still it's just one game. Bruno's desicion making was suspect during a lot of the game.

No-one has said anything about how quiet it was at OT from the off. You could hear the Wolves fans singing throughout the match. That was surely one of the reasons why United were so lacklustre and nervy. We had a full-house and they never really got behind the team even after we scored. They have to take some of the blame.
The main problem is every other team has improved while United are still struggling with a high press. Casimir to slow Erickson to slow,late signings have little time to integrate into the team.Looks like it's going to be a difficult year for United.The likes of Newcastle,City, have made good progress so to many middle of the Table clubs. United are still a year away from being a truly dominant team.
Shame kobbie is injured, not that he’s the physical presence needed or that should expect wonders out of him but his composure and box to box ability is needed this year in the middle.

Do we not think mount should play the advanced role and Bruno be asked to sit until we have the balance? We saw last season he looked excellent as an 8 at times when being disciplined

My main frustration with the squad is we seem to have a galaxy of attacking midfielder/winger type players in the team all scrambling to get in, but a real lack of genuine CDMs and strikers. Buying mount before anything else was another example of this.
Luv ETH but starting to worry about his signings and thought process. Martinez with his height was a gamble that worked, but Antony doesn’t look a prem player and certainly not a 80 mil one. Sure he didn’t pay the price that was idiots who buy our players but when that price got over 50 mil ETH should have said no he isnt worth that. Then you have mount a good player but not what we need, with cas already getting overloaded in midfield last season everyone could see we needed another strong midfielder in there who can progress the ball as well, mount isn’t that player. ETH is trying to fit Dutch tactics into prem football and it doesn’t work you need a dominating midfield even pep most of last season played 2 cdms in Rodri and gundogen. We should have let cas progress the ball and had a caceido in at 6. Cas on Monday was far to up the pitch and couldn’t get back something is off at the minute.
The positive about this is we’re the only team that won this game week and also got a chance to see our weakness. It’s a good look because while others are caught up in the hype .. we’ve already started knowing what’s up from the jump
This is merely our first competitive game where we're trying to play out from the back, have a higher back line, which becomes a 3 at the back, Shaw supports Casemiro as the base of a boxed midfield. Bruno and Mount, push up to occupy the half spaces, Garnacho and Antony create width and our unnatural 9 in Rashford operates down the centre.
It's going to take time. Plus, Rashford needs moving back into the left and we need a proper striker.
We need a more mobile 6 to play what we are trying to do that

We're a load of crap,I saw the Chelsea Liverpool game they would both not have much trouble beating us.Take Rashford out and where are we to get a goal from.Nowhere near being a good team.Been a Utd supporter since the early 60s I think we're a mile behind at least 6teams maybe more.Still no defence.
Casemiro was flat footed and lacking power,
Bruno was trying to hard and lacked the final ball
Rashford game isn't CF and can't run behind
Mount was a pressing passenger and needed more to his game,
We got very lucky

Manchester united need to sigh player especially midfielders and central back
1) Mount is playing way too high yesterday. We need a 6, 8 &10 for a balanced central midfield. At times, it was nuts. 4, 5 guys charging ar Case during a counter.
2) Possession. We were pathetic yesterday.
3) Onana decent debut. Clean sheet. Some saves. Claimed crosses well. And that was not a penalty.
4) Shaw was good at defensive duties not so offensively; shockingly awb around. Varane class.
5) Licha shocking; Lindelof as usual. Licha was bad. Could be due to lack of match fitness etc. Lindelof doing Lindelof things. Awful as usual. 1st half; Wolves 5 shots. Lindelof came on; Wolves had 18. 18! But somehow he is favored. I think should Licha or Varane need rest or are injured; bring on Dalot as LB and move shaw to CB.
This game showed why ETH is way behind Pep and also how much we are behind even in the top 4 race. City, Arsenal are top 2. Chelsea and Newcastle would really push is in the top 4 race and we can miss out on that race. Scared like in every season.

Even though AWB has improved over the last year or so, he offers nothing in the buildup play. Teams leave him free when we are playing it out from the back causing the opposite side to be condensed. Once the ball rotated back from the left (no space) wolves pressed AWB, forcing him to make bad decisions. Pavard is crucial. He’s great on the ball and does everything AWB can do but more

Mount shouldn’t have started. When we’re playing an expansive team, we can use Mount and press high.
Against a low block counter, why do we need to press them?
We need them to move out and create gaps for us to expose.
one thing to consider in this game; in game tactics! Wolves were able to prepare for United, but United couldn't prepare for Wolves (due to change in Manager). Tifo did a really good summary of the tactics
Mason mount is the most pointless buy we just didnt need that type of player and giving him the 7 is even worse

I was there Monday and it was hard graft to get the 3pts I thought the front 3 were awful don’t think Rashford won one duel… and Bruno was bad probably the worst I’ve ever seen him we looked so tired and lacklustre I hope we sort the midfield out as wolves drove there’s bus through it at times on Monday 🤦🏽♂️ but we got the 3pts and made the long drive home to Cumbria worth it 👍🏽
