  1. Messi missed so many opportunities to score face the goalkeeper matches over matches. He is not able to score anymore, he can only assist.

  2. 03:48 he eventually comes around to give a clear answer about Miami's new roster. Of course he is bummed, his team missed chances and it could have been a closer game. Anyways, it is cool to watch the MLS improve. Give it time, and the MLS will be a world class league. Messi is on another level.

  3. How bad the responses of this coach, the arrival of Messi will take all coaches out of a comfort zone where if they don't get their act together and stop responding nonsense they will be fired and changed for always losing against Inter Miami if they dont upgrade their mindset they are already dead….

  4. I got to say, I am now enjoying the MLS more than the premier league.

I think it's because of the too many rules in Europe now. The 100 mins play time is ridiculous. They are taking away the drama and emotions in Europe.

  5. errr… you are not the person to ask about messi's impact? You coach in the MlS no? you played them tonight no? you draw up at least minimum strategy towards messi no? You state that he is the best player in the world what did everyone expect? what you do is try to come up with at least strategies to overcome his impact and the rest of the team. its your job as a coach in this league no?

  6. Every coach has the same boring line when they face Messi.

Other than Nashville no team has really challenged Messi in the MLS.

  7. Too many excuses from Cherundolo. It's becoming a habit of losing the big games (Vs Leon, Monterrey and now this one) despite having ample opportunities to score. This is getting embarrassing. The selfishness of some players has to be reigned in. LAFC can't win if they can't defend properly, it needs a tighter defense. Too many chances wasted up front. Granted, Callender is an outstanding goalkeeper, but LAFC scorers need to find a way to define in the small area before goalies such as Inter Miami's. A team as talented as LAFC is not supposed to receive three goals in a game. Time to change strategies, or the coach.

  8. Not sure it really helps a team to give it press conference right after a game. It almost seemed like the reporters wanted LA coach to come out with his head down and say that Messi is the best and our guys are dirt! Kudos to Miami's goalie for denying LA chances to score!

  9. Cherundolo was not salty. He knew the teams attacks tore through the defense. But Callender stepped up when the shot was on target. Simply put. What he may be a little salty about is how few times Miami needed to score. It felt like when LA had Miami on its heels, they were caught off guard on a quick and simple counter. No fancy footwork or touches. That stings.

Aside from that, GO MIAMI!!! Facundo is turning out to be a menace, Gomez had a great start, Aviles conforming much better.

  10. Steve Cherundolo still doesn't understand this game well, The diffrent between good team and good players are the ones that knows how to finish ,In most games may come 2-3 opportunity not 20s ,

  11. What a horrid man. I can sense his lack of character ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I swear before Messi in the MLS I didn't realize grown men could be envious and jealous of another man's professional career.

  12. Cherrundolo out. Heโ€™s not managing this team well. His style of coaching is not sustainable. We have crap defending and we live in transition. LAFC is one dimensional. We have great talent on this team. Cherrundolo is not using them to their full potential.

  13. The standards for every team have risen so much since Messi has come. The level of play needs to increase for every team and cherundolo just needs to get sacked. He takes literally no responsibility in any loss. His attitude is just shitty. Idk how his players do it

  14. Steve Cherundolo kinda tried to avoid responsibility for the outcome. Pointing fingers against players is not a healthy attitude for a football coach. Hey Cherundolo, the defeat is your fault as well.
