I used to play Fifa pro clubs with Liam back when he was 17 and 18. Solid kid, I remember talking to him about his future and playing for the national team. Wish him nothing but success at Preston.
Nice interview, where we can hear from Liam’s story about his growth and how he paved the road towards the World Cup.
Millar’s club form never seemed to really replicate itself with the national team, but he’s always been solid and never “bad.” But he’s definitely capable of more and I’m excited to see what happens under a new coach. Assuming the team is actually scheduled games, of course!
