I discuss the latest Arsenal news, starting off with a round up of what has been going on at the World Cup. I then look at the latest transfer rumours regarding Arsenal and a move for Mykhailo Mudryk and also the latest with Danilo, the Brazilian midfielder that Arsenal have been keeping tabs on at Palmeiras.

  1. Agreed Messi is an alien, belongs with Maradona, Pele, Cruyff and Beckenbauer in the pantheon of the greats. People that transformed football.

Ronaldo belongs in the great goal scorers with Stanley Matthews and Henry and Romario. Ronaldinho, Eusebio and Rivaldo also belong in this group.

  2. I don’t really care about the World Cup and that’s because I’m thinking about Arsenal constantly. I just want the season to get back on the way and I guess that’s the same feeling you have

  3. Watched footy grow in the US over the last 40+ years, my boys being the first in their high school to get scholarships, seeing clubs get better and better quality coaching, and now a second generation of that batch, (Reyna, Weah, etc). Anyway, I'm beginning to feel like we belong. Definitely coming along.

  4. Mudryk isn’t worth £40 million, he might develop into a top player, but I’d be surprised if he delivered top class consistency straight off the bat.

What our forwards do off the ball, is as important to what they do on it, he’ll be a player Arteta will need to develop.

  5. Signing Mudryk means we are losing a first team forward.
Martinelli already said "give me a pen" ✍️
Saka's been real silent on his contract 🧐

  6. The Argentinian supporters are amazing 👏! Obviously, Messi is an incredible footballer but Maradona is one notch up! He won the Italian league with Napoli who were an average team twice, and the World Cup in 1986 with an average Argentinian team. Messi played for a superb Barcelona team but as yet hasn’t been influential enough for Argentina 🇦🇷! The best quote is from Michele Platini which is so true: “What Zidane could do with a football ⚽️ Maradona could do with an orange 🍊!” He was “rock and roll” so good but so bad! He fought all his life against discrimination born into severe poverty but overcame the barriers to succeed. He was fouled relentlessly on bad pitches whereas Messi is protected by new game laws and plays on bowling greens!

  7. Watching from the US. England had a rough day. It wasn’t just Saka. The full back and the midfield were not mobile. The front players were not seeing the ball. It was a sloppy sloppy game for England.

  8. I have watched a handful of games. With the thanksgiving holiday, I had enough time to see more games. The fun part is waking up 3am to see the first game. The World Cup has been fun. Lot of upsets. I would love to see Messi lift the World Cup.

  9. Could you please tweak the volume of the intro, it's incredibly soft and as soon as you start speaking my eardrums explode. 😀 Love the content, it's a part of my daily routine before work.

  10. Charles take it from.me. Maradona was definitely better than Messi. He single handedly won the WC in 1986 playing with " Dog and Duck" Sunday league standard players and also transformed Napoli into a title winners in Italy so much so you saw the outpouring of grief in Naples when he died recently

  11. Charles didnt you see Maradona in 1990 world cup where he dragged Argentina to the final? I'm 40 and managed to see that world cup – not sure how old you are but you said you saw AFC lose to Luton in 1988 which was 2 years prior! So I am not sure how you missed Italia 90!

  12. Maybe I missed it but as he was discussing Arsenal players in the World Cup, did he not even mention Matt Turner in goal for the USA? He was watching the game, right? Turner did pretty well.
