#rangersfc confirmed yesterday the signing of Jose Cifuentes . Also why did Graeme Souness turn down an ambassadorial role with the club? Whats the latest with Tom Lawrence?

  1. Souness. I worked for Rock steady Security during Souness era. What a time. I waid paid £15 to watch Rangers. Great Saturday. Straight to Ibrox House bar after game.
It wouldn't have worked. Souness would have overstepped. He couldn't help it. It the man he is, passionate anda Rangers man through and through. 100% still got something to offer and if he had approached before the board set goals. He might have got that job. But agree it could or would cause internal upsets sadly.
    Great assesment bud.

  2. I'm surprised your Wife and kids actually get to see you mate with the number of videos you put out🤣
Don't get me wrong I'm no complaining Owen it's always a pleasure to watch your vids mate👍

  3. High praise from Chiellini who has been there and done it at Italy international level…Chiellini was the one bitten by Suarez yon time! Has been in the wars and is a good judge of a player…

  4. I recall well in 1986 we sat in the Govan upper stand when Souness was introduced to the fans in a half-empty stadium…Souness then electrified Rangers, full attendances, top players, season-tickets sold out for the first time in history, after eight years of failure under incompetent managers and directors…it is a mistake not offering Souness the role he wants…he'd provide a great energy boost to the club, challenging mediocrity, attitude problems and lack of effort…but unfortunately it seems that the decision makers at Ibrox would prefer to keep Souness at a safe distance, they are actually afraid of his dominant personality……it's all noted…there's now this significant mistake in addition to their lack of spending (they are still hoping to pull in as much or more than they spend on transfers)…to come home to roost if Celtic hegemony continues this coming season
