      Now ive heard this im far more comcerned about this transfer. This lad cpuldve esentially peaked already and he cpuld be riddled with injuries. I really hope not, i hope he has the potential to learn and grow into a key attackong playmaker for us.

      Alvarez was ready when he came to CIty! Doku will be learning on the job but brings a much needed dynamism. Doku has deffo improved past szn and he was in the T10 for Shot Creating Actions in the top 5 leagues in 22/23.

      I think people are getting a bit giddy about this lad because we’re crying out for reinforcements. But I’m a bit concerned the more I hear about him. He’s not even ripping up trees in a poor league, has a history of injuries and everyone says he’s final ball is poor.
      Cole Palmer is possibly a far better player when played on the right. I hope we’re not signing him out of desperation

      Couple of Doku stats: he ranks 3rd in dribbles per game (behind Messi & Vini) at 3.3pg; successful take-ons 105 vs 27 for Mahrez vs 48 for Grealish. I think he will be an assist machine for Haaland & Alvarez driving at defenses and crossing to Haaland. I see a lot of potential and there is no way Pep would’ve been in for him if he didn’t think he could mould him into something special. Trust in Pep!!

      We don’t need Doku to come in and be the finished product. We just need his speed, dribbling, and depth. We need a pacy threat and that’s what he is

      Excited to see Doku play and wish him all the best, I do hope though that he was the top target for that position rather than a hopeful buy.
