I hope the Socceroos beat Denmark as the possibilities can turn things on it head in the knock-outs. I'd like see Kuol come on and cause havoc. And maybe that's why he's being held back.
To defeat any country that has to qualify through perhaps the toughest process for the World Cup is not to be taken lightly. Well done Roos.
For Arnold to arrogantly dismiss the criticisms of the France game by fans and players as not worthy, when it was obvious to anyone who understands the complexities of the game that the Socceroos played really badly on the day, and as coach he should take responsibility instead of excusing it as they (The French team) are world champions and they are bigger than us.
He is the coach and he is responsible for how the team plays. His arrogant and aggressive comment just proves it is a sore point for him and he should admit he got it wrong. No one expected us to beat the French but to be beaten when putting in an awful performance reflects badly on everyone, and the Australian game itself.
Believe me GA has read, heard and knows where it's coming from .. and yes it stings. It's not because he's soft it's because he's worked very hard without much support or little pats on the back .. sacrificed plenty too. He's right .. they've not been in his shoes, not even close .. so it's hard to cop the criticism. They played the hardest team in the world … fantastic squad, there are limitations to how much you can expect. Yet these guys can sit there looking fantastic and pick the bones out of performances.
Dont go for a draw and play cautious thats what scares me v denmark … freshen up thevteam as well
