  1. What a myth about Rodgers and the playoffs. Rodgers has a passer rating of 100.1 with 5,894 yards, 45 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 22 games in the playoffs in his career. He is fifth all-time. [BTW, Montana is 11th, Brady is 20th, and Young is 29th all-time.] Rodgers won the Super Bowl the one time he had a top five defense. [BTW, Brady had numerous top five defenses, and number one defenses.] To further illustrate the point, the Packers went 15-1 in 2011 with the number 32 defense in the league.

  2. There's enough dysfunction in Packersphere to go round. Rodgers was a factor, but not the main cause. Rodgers was often less than clutch when it meant the most and did have questionable behavior, but Packernation should view the organization as the root of the problem where expected success wasn't achieved. IMO it wasn't a good marriage.

  3. Brockman is such a joke. Pathetic to call his career a disappointment. I've seen every start of his since 2011 i will ask did he let Colin Kaepernick run all over them in 2012? Did he let SF run for 233 yards in a half in 2019? Did he take himself off the field in the possible comeback vs tampa in 2020? Did he let the punt get blocked vs SF in 2021? Gtfo the problem in GB is the lack of accountability for a GM on a team owned by nobody that can hold them accountable! It was disappointing he did not win multiple SBs but HE and his greatness was NOT the disappointing factor.

  4. I do not understand Superbowl rings as the only measure of success. There are too many variables in a football game, to have one game be the only one that matters

  5. Rodgers was strapped with McCarthy most of his career. A great QB can only do so much, maybe get you one Super Bowl, can you say Brady & the Bucs. It is the coaching that dictates multiple. Favre had Holmgren and then who? As TJ said there are a lot of pieces to the puzzle. Conventional wisdom says you have to have a good QB, but look at Walsh, Seifert, Gibbs, and yes the Evil Gnome Belichek. It was the system.
The original Murph! (I’m pretty sure I’m older than the Free Murph.) Packer Fan since ‘64. Lions before that, but that’s a whole nuther story.

  6. Peyton Manning only won one SB in Indy, and he arguably cost them a second one, but he kept us in contention all the time.
I think it would be absurd to say his tenure with the Colts was a "failure".

  7. It’s not easy to win a SB when the organization doesn’t draft/trade for WR depth and a core defense around him. Brett Favre has one and so does Aaron. That’s a win. Murph is a squid.

  8. Funny how the Rogers detractors will point to his performance in very specific games whereas Rogers supporters will look at the his whole career and the rest of the team and the organisation (i.e. with some perspective). Detractors wanted Superman and they only got a very talented human. Good luck with Jordan Love. Remember, Packers traded up to pick him one position above where Rogers was picked so if he doesn't become a first ballot HOF QB with at least 1 SB, he should be considered a bust, right?

  9. Brockman is such a hater. MVPs should translate to Super Bowl wins…get out of here with that. What does MVP mean? Most valuable player where if you lose him, you’re screwed. With some of the worst ranked defenses and lack of a run game, he carried that team for years and didn’t have the help he needed in the games that counted the most up against the top of competition.
