Gregg Berhalter put out a strong USMNT Roster for September camp’s friendlies against Oman and Uzbekistan. Some key players like Gio Reyna, Tyler Adams, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josh Sargent miss out through injury, but Christian Pulisic, Tim Weah, Ricardo Pepi, Yunus Musah, Matt Turner, Chris Richards and Folarin Balogun all make it.

Today I’m talking about Berhalter’s second cycle, some coaching updates, the strength of this roster, who is Kristoffer Lund and what to look out for in this camp.

  1. Ben Cremaschi being called up is a good thing it’ll make him feel more attached and appreciated to his country and he will definitely grow to become a key player

  2. The G-Man had pretty good roster selection. A lot of injuries. TBD…. Tactics, Subs, Strategy, Game management etc….. Poor competition this window. BUT!!!!!!! All everyone is talking about the G-Man’s relationship with Reyna….. it’s a very ridiculous situation 🤬🤬🤬

  3. This is a great roster group, I will say I think you’re crazy if you think CCV is better than Miles Robinson, CCV as technical as he is he’s a real slow player and has no acceleration

  4. i think one big thing if its true greg is thinking about a 3-5-2 would be the justification of Jesus, he's not a horrible player but I think the majority can agree he's best/better when he plays as a second striker with someone like pepi or vasquez or whoever, im more optimistic now than i was a week ago

  5. No Brooks, Baldhalter is one bitter dude. Still is a joke, this clown is still manager. The thing with Gio is going to problem, I don't think they will ever be buddies. Two Inter Miami players selected, that is shady

  6. Solid picks from greg hopefully he continues building his rosters like this moving forward and the roster is not just because the mls playoffs are right around the corner also whats come out still…about reyna is troubling and the fact greg continues to act like john brooks does not exist

  7. Cade Cowell seems to be a good athlete. But I don't think he has a high soccer IQ. He needs a good coach that can teach him how to be a good soccer player. Gregg Berhalter is not a coach who can transform a great athlete into a good soccer player.

  8. This could merely be a USSF play, as they've done this before, namely around his GGG's initial appointment–both after Couva (i.e., Post-Arena) and after GGG was hired subsequent to the "managerial search". They appease the fans before allowing things to go back to normal. Now, I'm NOT saying to be convinced of this, only to hold on a healthy skepticism until the foundations are laid in place (no matter how fresh this iteration of the GGG regime is).
