Considering midweek game, injuries the travel, City were immense.
Pep knew how low energy levels were amongst the squad.

Really impressive display from City last night, when i kinda expected the worst …. most of the side put a great shift in, with special praise for Foden and Kolarov, who were exceptional … Haaland was below par with his finishing, but he'll have better days.
Newcastle fan here! I think most Newcastle fans were disappointed not with the defeat but that we didn’t show up and make it a contest. City however controlled the game and showed why they are the champions of everything. I hope we can give you a game in the reverse fixture and glad to get this one over for this season. I think pep will do what sir Alex didn’t and get 4 in a row!! Rather you guys than Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea or Manure!! Good luck for the season!!!!
Time to sell kalvin, just dead wood and technically incapable as nice a guy he is.
We found a diamond in Kovacic and he will get even better as the season progresses. Also, Akanji is slotting well into that Stones role in midfield and he covered up as a CB pretty well too yesterday. Hope we keep building the momentum because come October, we have big games almost every week.
Lets talk about Grealish. He is plays like a LB he best moments are when he helps the defense. He is not doing what 100m wingers should be doing

Newcastle fan here… will you please sell us Phil Fodan😂. We have a decent midfield and he in particular with the rest of your midfield made us look average. Our defence saved us from a thrashing. Your defence also kept Isak quiet. Hope we can return the favour when you visit us at SJP. All the best for the rest of your season

Akanji plays the John Stones position better than John Stones. Give him time and he'll add even goals to it
I didn't like Haaland's body language throughout the game. He was so frustrated and it showed. Haaland has to know that at Mancity he's part of a team. And he need to understand he may not have to score in every game to be happy. The most important thing is a win, whether he scored or not
Stephen i think that Akanji thing is an imagination. Don't give it an air time. He's twice better than John Stones in my opinion.
That Alvarez point is so interesting and I love the comparison to Sergio too! They both have this incredible ability to shoot before you would expect them too. Everyone else does it at one point, but they have this insane ability and confidence that lets them do it a step before. If anyone is a basketball fan, this is the equivalency of Tony Parker taking layups off the same foot to surprise the defenders by taking off a step before they expected him too.
