I'll repeat, we won't miss kdb.
KDB is the King, Palmer the new Hoddle, Southgate has no vision.
Foden was great and proved he can fill in for kdb and do a job in the middle. He is definitely the future in that position when kdb moves on. But we can't rely solely on foden in that position. Whether it's Wirtz, olmo, or whoever. We've got to bring another attacking midfielder into the squad before the window closes.

I had a debate with an Arsenal fan. I said that Foden is a better player than Saka. He played a 1000 minutes less than Saka last season but still recorded 15 goals and 8 assists in all competitions against Sakas 15 goals and 11 assists. My argument is that Foden is doing this while not being a winger. He is a midfielder. I'm glad he has shown his ability in this position. I can see Man City adopting a new style of play similar to the style of Napoli last season with Foden driving the team forward. Kovacic complements Foden's style perfectly. Now we just need a winger with genuine pace and then we will terrify teams
i can see Man City playing with 4 midfielders and Walker playing as a wingback. They will then not have an inverted fullback or centre back
