Ten Hag needs to have alternatives to his beloved style of build up. This was a game for overlapping SBs (as demonstrated by AWB's run in the goal), inverting Shaw helped neither Casemiro nor the build up. Also no long ball options, predictable wingers, no variants, so stale, it's concerning.
Ur so clueless how can u blame cas? He was one of our best players. Mount and Bruno don’t work together in midfield. Casemiro job is to defend the midfield, he’s not an attacker And he done his job perfectly yesterday

I’m quietly concerned about Shaw, not just from this game. All of his best seasons have come when there’s been significant competition for his spot. Malacia doesn’t seem to have taken enough of a step forward to seriously threaten Shaw. Shaw’s said before he welcomes the competition: hopefully he can find it within him to be at his best despite the lack of direct challenge.
Ten Hag messed up…Martial should have started.

I was incredibly frustrated when I didn't see Sancho starting after his solid preseason performances playing as a False 9. His ability to hold the ball up and link the play was one of the more positive parts of preseason and I think it would've worked really well against Wolves' low block; especially considering Rashford's lack of ability to hold the ball up
Manutd attack is a real problem. Sancho needs to be a starter because he's the only one besides Bruno who seems to know how to create
Mount is crap,Antony is crap, garno is just a kid and rashford is the most overrated player I've ever seen. He's crap. Bruno gives the ball away for fun. I'm not sure why people are surprised.
united has excellent jerseys but not many excellent players – even the U21 and U18 rarely win any…sigh

Rashford is only good for counter attacking play. It's the same shit season after season. Don't bother playing him in other roles, he will not do well. He is no CF!

Garncho should not be starting games, he is still very young and in experience. Sancho should have started. Then garnacho cones in when the defenders of the opposite team are tired. When he starts running they can't catch him. Which forces them to attack less. You play stupid games you win stupid prices.
The problem this gone game, was not only Mount and Casimero.

We need Amrabat more than mount. Still don’t get why we carried our money and gave away to Chelsea. That money seems a lost money. Mount is not effective. We need a defensive midfielder to help us win balls. Wolves exposed us big time. There was a gaping hole on the midfield. Bruno is not fast and strong, can’t run hard and Wolves showed more power. Those 3 point we got, we were lucky.
Mount, Garnacho and Rashford were all pretty awful. Mount and Rashford needed better movement off the ball and better decisions when they got it. Garnacho showed good movement but he was outplayed by Semedo. He didn't learn from his mistakes, which was a problem when he played for Argentina. He is unsure how to adapt when he's up against a fast tricky RB who anticipates his tricks. That's when he needs to adjust his positioning and analyse the weaknesses of the defence.
Antony was a bit unlucky and his one-footedness makes him predictable. If only he had a right foot 😅. Between the 4 of them, Utd were woeful in attack. Wolves are a fast breaking side on a counter attack and Utd had attackers who lost the ball for fun. Better support and movement from midfield would have reduced the turnover rate and reduced Wolves' xG.
The irony is the way we are playing is not the Ajax way. The spine of the side just doesn't work for Ten Hag ball. Martinez is ideal but Casemiro and Rashford don't do what Ten Hag wants them to. Casemiro at least compensates with general toughness and experience. Rashford does not. When he's not having a good game he loses the ball quickly when it comes to him. That can be less problematic on the wing with an LB to support him but as a CF it's disastrous. Runs that should lead to solid scoring opportunities are wasted with terrible decision making.
The silver lining is that Ten Hag can probably make the ideal Ajax CDM out of Mainoo so long as the kid stays fit. He also needs other CM options and CF options that will not lose the ball like Rashy. Rashy is a winger in Ten Hag ball. Never a CF and he's only being played there because we have no other options.
If we don't improve the spine of the side we will get murdered against fast breaking teams with accurate strikers, like what happened against City and Liverpool last year.

In the whole Manchester united team,, there only two players who are very fit & creative enough (Onana & Wan-bisaka). Rashford & Garnacho are like they have never been a strikers & don't know where the opposite goal post is🤷🤷🤷
In the middle field,, it's like Manchester united team has no mid-fielder in the team b'se the opponent teams just pass in it as if they are passing in a dessert where there no trees & the defenders are totally disorganized thus causing much trouble to Andre .Onana . This defenders are seen back passing balls instead of moving forward in such of goals & lastly,, let Manchester united players not boost around always when in the matches as a way of showing dat they are the best team yet in action,, they are the worst
