Let us be clear Liverpool had a different strategy on acquiring players prior to Chelsea’s interest in Lavia. They realized they were going to lose the pricing war on Lavia with Chelsea . Then the billionaire ego got in the way and they thought they would show Chelsea up by signing their big target, Caseido. Well that backfired with the courage that Caseido showed. Keep in mind that Liverpool clearly. Did not even check that the player wanted to go to Liverpool (big ego and truly did not know how to work with players). Love that Caseido said I am going with the club that has shown they see my value. Not the club that just wanted to prove a point. Liverpool get over yourselves. Live with the disappointment that Brighton screwed you and you messed up with the player.
