Don't get your hopes up with wild card signings. I always keep my expectations low with these signings. Cancelo, on the other hand, I'm more hopeful.

What do you mean Barca doesn't want a buy clause with Felix's loan? This loan for Felix sounds worse and worse for us in the long run. This is the cheapest buy option Barca can negotiate Atleti to put on him. The only time after the loan Felix will be cheaper is if he flops here, and if he does, why would Barca buy him then? It doesn't help that reports are saying we'll cover his 13 million salary, those salary reductions better be true or else he'd be amongst our top earners, but Fabrizio Ramono, the guy Felix gave the exclusive scoop to, dropped a massive blow earlier today. He said Felix only wants Barca, BUT if Barca can't get it done by the end of the transfer window, then Felix will consider a move, possibly to Saudi. The Saudi window is open longer than Europe's and that gives Atleti all the power. They can now just wait it out and completely sell him to a Saudi team if Barca don't meet their demands.

In all honestly, I just want these Felix-romours to go away… I just can't see how this particular transfer is so important for us? I feel like there is something fundamentally wrong in Barca's priorities, when it comes to transfers. In fact, this is not a lone case. Barca does not seem to be as sharp, as other major clubs, when it comes to being clinical, in terms of knowing exactly what the squad needs, and then focusing on providing it. Instead, we seem to have a long history of misfires, bad investments, and neglecting to strenghtening positions in which we are obviously in need.
To put it short, If Barca ends up signing Joao Felix, but then let's the Cancelo deal slip through their fingers, I WILL LOSE IT!!!
