  2. He has a solidity to him , unsure if its because he’s constantly in recovery or what but theres a meediness there now that wasnt there before. Would be happy to see him pattern up because he does a job in big games for us. Fitness a BIG issue tho.

  3. Tomiyasu is pretty heavily right-footed. I know a lot was made of his "versatility," but I don't think he's quite as versatile as we all think he is. It's almost like he can't open up his body in that direction. I'm guessing the injuries might have taken away some of those abilities. He doesn't seem to be able to do the things he did back in 21/22.

I'm probably blinded by the fact that he's Japanese and I'm Japanese American, but despite his flaws, I love him. Maybe we just need more Japanese players on the squad so that I won't feel so bad about Arteta leaving him out of the lineup <cough>Kaoru Mitoma</cough>

  4. He came into the team and did brilliantly. We lauded his versatility, but he's been plagued with injuries. Every time he comes back, he gets injured again.

He's like Wilshire in that regard. I hope he gets a run of games injury free as we'll need him as cover now Timber is out
