Newcastle went to sleep and Howe was slow to make any meaningful subs. I would have also subbed Bruno and Almirón. The better team on the day won but remember that Liverpool did us twice last year and they still never qualified for the Champions league. So it's not over until the fat lady sings.

Newcastle fan here. Other than the players obviously completely bottling it and making poor mistakes, this one is on Howe for me. Shocking game management with those subs taking our two best players off. Fair play to Liverpool, showed why they've been one of the best for the better part of a decade.

This is a classic game for liverpool in the first half it look shambles at the back and the red card but Newcastle should have got that 2nd goal or 3rd That player with the run should have made it 2-0 and Newcastle could have won the game but when you use Nunez as a sub then a starting player it can make such a big difference and i think Klopp brought him on the right time when he was needed the most When it comes to the big moments Nunez takes them and that goal he scored is exactly what his capable off and it shows when you got players like nunez on the bench and only 1-0 down you always going to have a chance to turn it around and that's what liverpool did and Nunez is a liverpool hero
