Stats don't lie, in as much as Rambo is good, Raya is better. We are in many competitions UCL, PL, FA, Carabao, we surely need top notch Goalies. We need them both.
So, even according to Craig, it only takes an injury to Ramsdale and Raya could be starting keeper in a EPL challenging team and UCL games too. Where else could he get that? And if he performs, which he'll back himself to do, in 6 months he could be Arsenal's long term first choice keeper. Worst case scenario he leaves in 12 months a better player. Good business by Arsenal. Given that Raya had only one year left on his contact with the bees, if he has to leave arsenal after a year he could still be sold for a good value like Matt Turner. Crazy good business. 3mil loan + 27mil buy option for one of the better keepers in PL is so smart. Turner is really good but cannot play Artetaball. Raya is great with his feet and about as good a shotstopper. Affords competition and rotation.

U can tell these people don't watch Arsenal play because in no way is ramsdale a guaranteed GK and the finished article. He made countless errors last season and cost us the league title with his errors. Raya is competition not a bench-warmer back-up.
Its good competition and its a loan so if this doesnt work out, they can move on.And it doesnt have to be always the conventional way,the game is modernizing and this is part of it.
I think Ramsdale or Raya will play Champions league, and League cup, and Premier league, and F.A. Cup. Both of em will put a good fight to be the Arsenal number 1 spot.
