Does Carragher even watch United? Casemiro almost single-handedly dragged them into the champions league last season. He has one questionable game, which they won, and Carragher uses this as a excuse to unjustifiably criticize. Ridiculous.
100% Casemiro was a "panic" buy. But Casemiro is also easily top 3 signings post Fergie for Utd (with Bruno and Ibra). And tbh arguably No1. So 2 statements can be true at the same time.

Honestly last season until the second red card he was fantastic however since then he’s been poor and except for maybe 1 or 2 games and our performances reflect that. We didn’t have a good performance until Mainoo played in preseason and haven’t had a good performance since he got injured. There’s no one in our midfield except for Eriksen who can control tempo and he’s been woeful ever since his injury.

Panic buy my ass. Carragher is just examining and analyzing his navel again. The name of the game is getting quality. Call Casemiro a 'panic buy' fine, call him Sue or Sally. Who cares. As long as he brings quality, and he did, United should get him. Carragher would have told us that Robin Van Persie was a panic buy by Sir Alex. As long as it gets you silverware…who gives a damn. The Carragher piece is dumb. Of course you want to buy world class quality at a young age, doesn't take to rocket scientists to figure that out. But guess what, buying world class quality at a older age is good also. Barca went an bought Robert Lewandowski at 33 years old and guest what…..League scoring title and a League winning trophy. If he said anything but yes, he'd be lying. United want people to belief that Kane wasn't pursued in part because he didn't bring value, meaning spending 100mil for a 30 year 30 goal scorer wasn't for them. What a lot of BS. That guy is going to score 20-25 goals every year for the next 3-4 years. As a Club competing against Pep and Jurgen and the other European Club, you're an ass if you don't want that production. Look at it this way, they spent 72 mil on Hojlund and by their logic they feel they have a good chance to sell him in the future for more than that which would be good value and make carragher happy. But in order for them to sell him for more than 72mil, he has to be highly productive right? So if he turns into another version of Haaland, WHY THE F WOULD YOU SELL HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF he's scoring 20-25 goals, like Kane or 25-30 like Haaland, you keep that guy, you're not selling him so you can say, you sold him for more than you bought him. If they had signed Caicedo , AS THEY SHOULD HAVE, and he's worth 114 mil, why would United sell him? Dumb, dumb thinking. That value thing works more for the teams that buy cheap and sell high which usually means they are not a top, top team cause that's where the young guys want to go.

United do not get top 4 or a cup without Casemiro! Therefore not panic buy. I back your videos dave but sometimes you forget United are judged PER SEASON. You’re more long term and analytical in that sense… You semi compare to Brighton?… it’s properly misunderstanding manchester united- they have to compete in the here and now, they don’t get building seasons like spurs or Chelsea or arsenal even. Ten Hag genuinely HAD to win a cup, HAD to get top 4- does United do that without Casemiro? Of course they don’t. There’s no hiding you’re a proper united fan, I’ve seen you at the game a few times, but why do you not get that man united HAVE to compete every year? We have to buy players with pedigree like Cas, Varane, cos we have a to win today! United don’t get to build like Liverpool or whoever, it’s down to us to stop City and no one else! If they win four in a row, we’re to blame and ten hag get this, he gets the pressure, he’s only thinking about winning the title and it’s players like Cas that will aid that cause, you must know that.
Anybody still thinking that Casemiro is a great player has to re-watch his performance in his last 15 games. Clearly he is no longer the player he used to be and is now a serious liability for MU. Makes too many mistakes and gets tired midway in all matches. Need to be replaced asap.

He’s getting old and he looks leggy, and in that United midfield he’s going to be made look even worse, and he’s not even played the best in the league yet! He looked poor against Wolves and he looked poor again today against Spurs…definitely a panic buy for the wage and contract he’s on. Players don’t just leave Madrid unless Madrid don’t want them.
I don't think casimero is a bad players ( he won 3 champions leagues and score in one final).Any average player partnered with tony kross laser accuracy and Modric world class close control and outside of the foot long pass accuracy would always have an easier time as a midfielder. We have none of that at United. Quality is the problem of our midfield.
